Through a strong partnership with the Farmworker Housing Development Corporation (FHDC), Linn County Public Health, the Benton County Health Department, Community Outreach, Inc., and multiple other organizations, Casa Latinos Unidos plays a key role coordinating a collaborative that brings resources and services to the FHDC Colonia Paz affordable housing complex, in Lebanon. Since spring 2022, the Collaborative has brought to Colonia Paz several services and events, including a health fair, two dental clinics, vaccination clinics, the Community Outreach Inc Farm Clinic, English classes, finances classes, and nutrition classes. This Collaborative is an example of how different organizations and communities can come together and through dialogue and mutual understanding develop a program that has a clear beneficial impact on a community.
