Casa Latinos has joined a network of 24 community-based organizations and agencies supporting the Oregon Health Authority Healthier Oregon program (House Bill 3352). Through Healthier Oregon, as of July 2023 people of all ages who meet income and other criteria qualify for full OHP benefits and other services and supports, no matter their immigration status. Casa Latinos Unidos’s certified community health worker team supports people accessing health care services and resources, resources across the social determinants of health, enrolls people into the OHP program, as well conducts education and outreach activities.
